| Wow!!! Now that's feedback for you... Think what you want... The shop I purchased parts from and my mechanic all know I have some of the best parts available for my Z. Not only that... I built the car right. I have yet to focus on "body" and the appearance of the car... yes I have a few things just so I can "see" where all the money has gone but it's all about performance first. No I have not "lost" to anyone yet causing me to be unhappy... drag racing is lame anyway... give me a road coarse... besides a lot of people talk about driving fast but not all actually go that fast... I see a lot of cars slowing down once in the 120 - to pegged range. I live in CA so there are some things that I can't do because of smog testing required for registration... the only thing else I could do would be to rebuild the bottom end... new pistons etc... that will come when needed. The car to a 16 child... let's not put the cart before the horse... Let the child be born, be a boy... and most importantly... this is MY child... If you have no faith in YOUR children or other's that's for you to work out. The idea or message behind that statement was about never getting rid of the car. I've read so many threads from various Z sites and I've looked at almost everyone profile... you see a lot of crap out there... but that's what is so great about it... we can do what we want to our cars then come together and enjoy that we all love Z's. The thread was more therapeutic than anything and the need to share what one should expect if they are planning a turbo upgrade. I read so much where people wanted "Turbo upgrade, turbo upgrade" as the end all to performance. It's not!! I shared with someone earlier... before I upgraded the turbos I had a lot of quick response "punchy" power... Fun On-Demand. Now... I need more of a runway... the day's of a quick romp around town have become a more calculated driving rout. With that said... $4.69 & up per gallon for 91 octane has become more of a deciding factor on who'll I'll race. no need to waste gas on a car that I know can't keep up. Anyway... I do appreciate all the feedback... good and bad. Take care!
